Zansa Plays DC and Musikfest

We are hitting the road! We’re playing our first show ever with Cameroonian singer/guitarist Armand Ntep on Friday August 7 at Liv Nightclub. Big thanks to Massama Dogo from Elikeh for putting the show together. Sunday August 9 we play Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA. Other acts include Jerry Seinfeld, ZZ Top, and Snoop! It’s a huge fest that takes place over 10 days with over a million attendees.

Zansa Plays Downtown After 5

On Friday June 19 Zansa will be playing Asheville’s summer concert series Downtown After 5, with veteran rasta bluesman Correy Harris. Along with Keb’ Mo’ and Alvin Youngblood Hart, he raised the flag of acoustic guitar blues in the mid-1990s. He was featured on the 2003 PBS television mini-series, The Blues, in an episode directed by Martin Scorsese, and was named a MacArthur Fellow in 2007.
